Hyundai Motor was founded in 1967 and became the No. 1 automobile corporation in South Korea upon its acquisition of Kia Motors in 1998, leading to the official inception of Hyundai Motor Group (“HMG”) in 2000. Since the establishment of the fuel cell R&D team in 1998, after 24 years of development，HMG has become the leader in the field of hydrogen fuel cell, and launched the dedicated fuel cell system brand - HTWO in 2020. In Jan. 2021, HMG settled in Guangzhou, and announced to build first overseas fuel cell system production, R&D, and sales base - "HTWO Guangzhou". The plant of construction had been officially completed in June 2023, and provide the world leading fuel cell system to automobile, vessel, rail, and power generation sectors. In the future, "HTWO Guangzhou" will cooperate with outstanding hydrogen and fuel cell industry related companies in China, and strive to achieve win-win cooperation and create higher value.
