Starting in 2023, Feintool and Sitec will manufacture high-precision bipolar plates in large-scale production. In China we are setting up an integrated process comprising FEINforming, FLEX Welding and FLEX Inspection, SOP is expecting in Q3 2023. FEINforming makes it possible to process metals of the thinnest material thicknesses with minimal tolerances, and maximum precision. Optimizing the use of materials, design implementation, and production unlocks the high potential to cut costs and increase the efficiency of fuel cell technology. SITEC integrates the laser and high-tech welding optics and intelligent monitoring systems into automated production lines for bipolar plates. The use of high-resolution optical inspection systems ensures 100% quality control and integrated traceability.
